Jean Parenteau
Jean Parenteau joined the IndiePay team in September 2008 after a 14-year tour of duty with a non-profit organization responsible for working with watershed farm and forest landowners to maintain the exceptional quality of NYC’s drinking water.
Jean is a native of upstate New York. She left rural Delaware County to earn a number of college degrees, but gladly returned to her home where she is raising her daughter. She presently serves on the Delaware Academy Board of Education and the Farm Catskills Board of Directors.
Even though Jean was the high school band member who was given new instruments to learn overnight and on her own, she has no real interest in being on-stage. Instead, she uses her persuasive skills to rally the troops to venture out to support musicians who play within 200 miles of Delhi.
