Ben Bray

Ben Bray has been considering a career at JFA for nearly a year, from the upstate office.  Ben comes from the public education sector, holding public teaching positions in Walton and Downsville, NY before dipping his toes in the private market when he established The Learning Lab, in Delhi NY www.gotothelab.com. Ben attended college at SUNY Canton, and he went to school once Pa stopped paying the bill.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Alaska Anchorage (home of the mighty Seawolves and The Great Alaska Shootout) and a Master’s degree from Capella University.

Despite his focus on Education, Ben has had some experience in the business.  He broke in as Sodapop in Delaware Academy 7th grade English teacher Marty Podskoch’s annual production of the Outsiders before starring in Gwen Nealis productions Headin’ For A Weddin’” (Grandpappy) and in some play he can’t remember the name of (the bad guy).

Best known for his roles as flanker and running back in the 1983 and 1984 seasons of the Delhi Football Bulldogs vs. various Sus- East opponents, Ben continues to enjoy logging miles on the Glory Highway, though [always] alone.

Ben and his better 9/10ths Betsy are raising Elise (12) and Shane (9) in DeLancey, NY.  Ben fancies himself a “Renaissance Man” and he’s handling well the understanding what that means - all gifts, no skills.
